Super Bowl Gambling: Cleveland Thrash New Orleans


The Cleveland Browns trounced the New Orleans Saints, 30-17, at the Superdome. David Bowens returned two interceptions for touchdowns, while Phil Dawson scored on three field goals for rally the Browns over New Orleans. Colt McCoy finished the game with 9-of-16 for 74 yards and Peyton Hillis had 16 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown. Cleveland stacked just 210 yards, including 68 yards from Reggie Hodges’ key fake punt. With this win, which delighted the Super Bowl gambling fans, Cleveland (2-5) broke a two-game losing streak.

Drew Brees’s team was rambling at most part of the game, while he was forced to throw 56 times. Brees had a pair of scores and connected on 37 passes for 356 yards with career-high tying four receptions for New Orleans. Chris Ivory ran 15 times for 48 yards for the Saints, while Marques Colston pulled in 10 passes for 112 yards with a touchdown. The Super Bowl betting lines of New Orleans Saints (4-3), who have lost two of their three games, will be affected with this loss.
