Seattle Seahawks sign Stiokley; NFL Lines get interesting

The NFL lines will again get interesting as Seattle Seahawks have signed wide receiver Brandon Stokley. The 12-year veteran was on the injury list since September 4 as he suffered a groin injury. Seahawks made Stokley a free agent after quite a few rounds of negotiations.

Stokley spent the last three seasons with the Broncos but didn’t put up a good show, managing only 19 catches last season, for 327 yards and four touchdowns. He now will be reunited with Seahawks offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, who served in the same capacity in Denver in 2008 when Stokley caught 49 passes.

So far in his career, Stokley has made 307 catches for 4,319 yards and 34 scores. He joined the Colts in 2003 and had his breakout season the following year, making 68 catches for 1,077 and 10 scores, all career-highs.

The NFL betting fans will be hoping for a good show from Stokley. Meanwhile, NCAA football lines will be keeping an eye on Ohio State’s Junior quarterback Terrelle Pryor to exhibit excellent play when his team opens up Big Ten Play Saturday against Michigan.
