NFL Sportsbook: Dolphins Sign Curtis

The Miami Dolphins have signed a contract with Kevin Curtis to strengthen their wide receiving end. This news has delighted several NFL sportsbook fans.

The 32 years old Curtis is expected to provide some depth for the team, whose receivers have been suffering from injuries this season. Brandon Marshall has sustained a hamstring injury recently. Brian Hartline on the other hand will be missing the remaining season as he has undergone a hand surgery last week.

There are reports that Curtis had not played in the NFL this season, as he was fighting testicular cancer. The reports also said that Curtis underwent surgery in September to get the cancerous testicle removed.

Curtis had appeared in only 12 games during 2008-09, as he sustained several injuries. He has recorded 252 receptions for 3,291 yards along with 20 touchdowns, in his 79 career games over seven seasons, which he has played with St. Louis and Philadelphia.

In 2007 he set his career high record of 77 catches and 1,110 yards with the Eagles.

The betting enthusiasts believe that, with Curtis in the team, the NFL Betting Trends will certainly change for the Dolphins.

Super Bowl Betting: Amano on IR


Eugene Amano, the center for the Tennessee Titans, has been placed on injured reserve due to a neck problem. This news has upset several super bowl betting fans.

This season, all the 13 games of the Titans, were started by Amano. In the earlier two years, he started 31 games at the position of left guard and was moved to the center this year.

Jackson, who is a LSU product, has participated in two games this season on behalf of Jacksonville. He was released from the team on 17th November.
Jackson who was originally picked up by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft, has participated in 31 games over his two-year period in Atlanta, where he recorded 51 tackles, along with one sack and one interception.

Super Bowl Odds: Broncos Sign Steven Hauschka


Kicker Steven Hauschka has been signed by the Denver Broncos on Saturday. This step has been taken by the team in order to improve their super bowl odds in the upcoming matches.
Recently Hauschka has been travelling quite a bit. The Ravens released him in last November. The Falcons picked him towards the end of December and again released him in August. Super Bowl Odds: Broncos lose Williams, Thomas


The Denver Broncos have lost their linebacker D.J. Williams, as well as, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, because of injuries in the match against the San Diego Chargers, held on Monday. The absence of these two players for a long time can affect their super bowl odds adversely.
Williams, who has emerged as Denver's leading tackler this season, had to unfortunately leave Monday’s game because of a concussion. This season he has recorded 79 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks.
Thomas on the other hand left the field with an unknown injury. He had to leave the game following a tackle after a reception on Denver's first drive of the second half. This season he has recorded a total of 22 catches for 283 yards, along with two scores.
The news of injuries of both these players has left the super bowl gambling fans upset as they had great expectations from both of them.

NFL Sportsbook: Jacksonville Outshine Houston


In the match between Jacksonville and Houston at EverBank Field, the former defeated the latter by 31-24. Mike Thomas helped his team to win during the final play of the game by catching a deflected ball from David Garrard on a Hail Mary pass. With this second straight victory, Jacksonville delighted all the team supporters and NFL sportsbook fans.
Garrard scored two touchdowns and connected 24 of 31 passes for 342 yards while Maurice Jones-Drew contributed to the victory of his team by running for 100 yards and earning two scores on 24 carries.

Tony Sparano, the head coach for Miami Dolphins, has decided to allow Chad Pennington to start instead of Chad Henne, in the match against the Tennessee Titans, to be held on Sunday. For the last three seasons Whimper was playing for the New York Giants. He has participated in only 30 games. He was removed from the team on September 4, during the final short-listing in training camp.
Jacksonville on the other hand released linebacker Eric Alexander and Lance Long and has signed wide receiver Clarence Denmark. This was the seventh NFL season for Alexander. This season he has played four games with the Jaguars.
The Jaguars fans and super bowl betting fans are hoping that these steps taken by the team prove to be beneficial in the upcoming games.

Super Bowl Gambling: Cleveland Thrash New Orleans


The Cleveland Browns trounced the New Orleans Saints, 30-17, at the Superdome. David Bowens returned two interceptions for touchdowns, while Phil Dawson scored on three field goals for rally the Browns over New Orleans. Colt McCoy finished the game with 9-of-16 for 74 yards and Peyton Hillis had 16 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown. Cleveland stacked just 210 yards, including 68 yards from Reggie Hodges’ key fake punt. With this win, which delighted the Super Bowl gambling fans, Cleveland (2-5) broke a two-game losing streak.

Drew Brees’s team was rambling at most part of the game, while he was forced to throw 56 times. Brees had a pair of scores and connected on 37 passes for 356 yards with career-high tying four receptions for New Orleans. Chris Ivory ran 15 times for 48 yards for the Saints, while Marques Colston pulled in 10 passes for 112 yards with a touchdown. NFL Betting Lines Influenced: Philadelphia Trounces Atlanta


The Philadelphia Eagles thrashed the visiting Atlanta Falcons, 31-17, courtesy of Kevin Kolb who threw for 326 yards and had a career-high three touchdowns. Kolb finished 23-of-29 passes while being picked off once for the Eagles (4-2). NFL Sportsbook Betting Redskins Cooley Suffers Concussion


Chris Cooley, the Redskins tight end, had to leave the game when Washington was battling against the Indianapolis Colts.  Cooley left the game in the second half due to a concussion and did not return. This news disappointed numerous NFL sportsbook bettors, who were counting on the Redskins.

According to the latest reports, the Redskins later stated that Cooley would not return to Sunday night's game. Prior to leaving the game, Cooley grabbed five catches for 37 yards. Seattle Seahawks sign Stiokley; NFL Lines get interesting


The NFL lines will again get interesting as Seattle Seahawks have signed wide receiver Brandon Stokley. The 12-year veteran was on the injury list since September 4 as he suffered a groin injury. Seahawks made Stokley a free agent after quite a few rounds of negotiations. 

Stokley spent the last three seasons with the Broncos but didn’t put up a good show, managing only 19 catches last season, for 327 yards and four touchdowns. He now will be reunited with Seahawks offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, who served in the same capacity in Denver in 2008 when Stokley caught 49 passes.

So far in his career, Stokley has made 307 catches for 4,319 yards and 34 scores. He joined the Colts in 2003 and had his breakout season the following year, making 68 catches for 1,077 and 10 scores, all career-highs.

The NFL betting fans will be hoping for a good show from Stokley. Meanwhile, NCAA football lines will be keeping an eye on Ohio State’s Junior quarterback Terrelle Pryor to exhibit excellent play when his team opens up Big Ten Play Saturday against Michigan.

Delhomme returns to practice, delights NFL betting fans


Much to the delight of NFL betting fans, Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme began participating again on Thursday. The veteran signal-caller has been sidelined by. The Louisiana-born player suffered a high ankle sprain during his Week 1 debut. The injury kept him out of practice for the last two weeks. After Delhomme suffered the injury, he left the game but not before he completed 20-of-37 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. The signal-caller expects to fully recover from the injury in the next 2-3 weeks. 

Delhomme was not looking 100 percent in the practice and so were Running back Jerome Harrison, fullback Lawrence Vickers and wide receivers Joshua Cribbs and Brian Robiskie — all of them suffering from different injuries.
On the other hand, offensive tackle Joe Thomas (elbow), was a full participant in Thursday's practice. He did not practice Wednesday. The defensive lineman Shaun Rogers (ankle, hip) missed practice Thursday for a second straight day.
Meanwhile, NCAA football betting fans will be keeping an eye on BYU Cougars match Friday. One can surely expect the odds to tumble.
